getting to know each other

Whether you need a simple logo or all printed components for your wedding, the first step is to getting to know you, your vision and your needs. If you are in the Minneapolis area, we can meet in person, if not chatting on the phone or emailing works too! Collaborating from the very beginning ensures that your style gets carried through to the final piece just how you want it.

Once you have decided to work with birdy blue it is helpful for me to get any wording or imagery you would like to use before I start the designs. Paper, printing method, and quantity will all factor into the quote I send you. A 50% deposit is also due before I begin designing. I will email you a pay pal invoice for that payment. (You don’t need to have a pay pal account for this, you can pay it with credit card, it’s actually quite easy!)

design concept stage

Once we have brainstormed some creative ideas together about your project, I will start designing up to 3 different options. When they are complete they will be emailed to you in PDF format. At this point you will be able to provide feedback and any changes you would like to see for the final piece.

the finished product

This is the fun part of the process, where your vision really starts to come alive. I will email you a final proof that you will need to approve before we start printing. Once I have received that back from you, your piece will go into production. The time it takes to print and ship out depends on the printing method we choose. At this time you be invoiced for the remainder of what you owe.

If you aren't in need of custom work, take a peek at my shop where I have some pre-made designs available that can be personalized.
